I managed to find a copy of the legend and this appears to be a knitting pattern.
Yes, its a 9 row repeat.
Row 1-knit all
Row 2-purl all
Row 3- *knit 2 together,yarn over repeat from * to end of row.
Row 4-purl all
Row 5-knit all
Row 6- *yarn over,slip the next 2 stitches off the left needle ONE AT A TIME with the right needle knitwise.then put them back on the left needle and knit both stitches together. repeat from *to end
Row 7-knit all
Row 8-purl all
Row 9- is repeat row 3 :)
Not sure how many stitches to cast on or what kinda yarn they use. But that's not hard to figure out. Just gotta check ur gauge.
